CLEAN WATER FOR CHILDREN IN KAMPAla
We have received a new proposal from our ground team in Kampala, Uganda—and what we’ve seen has deeply moved us. The images above show the current water source for school children.
This is not clean water. This is not safe water. Yet, this is what they rely on daily.
Children are forced to bend over muddy ground, collecting water from a shallow, contaminated stream—using bottles, containers, anything they can find.
THE REALITY ON THE GROUND
This same water is used for basic hygiene.
The tank meant for washing hands after using the toilet is already dry.
There is no consistent supply. No backup. No safety.
This creates:
Health risks
Poor sanitation
Increased disease exposure
A daily struggle just to meet basic needs
A STEP OF FAITH HAS BEGUN
Despite the challenges, something powerful has already started:
They have begun digging the well, and the children will soon have fresh water to drink and use for toilet purposes.
This is a step of faith—believing that provision will come for our KAMPALA project.
THE VISION: LIFE GIVING WELL
This proposed well will:
Provide clean, safe drinking water for school children
Restore dignity in hygiene and sanitation
Reduce disease and health risks
Serve not just the school, but the surrounding community
Become a testimony of God’s love in action
To build a sustainable, clean-water well that will serve these children daily, providing them with safe water to drink, proper hygiene, and a healthier future. This well will not only impact the school but also bless the surrounding community for years to come.
